Step into the story of Holy Week and Easter—told through music that spans centuries and speaks to every soul.

From the haunting beauty of ancient chant and Renaissance masterpieces by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina and William Byrd… to the rich choral traditions of John Ireland and Charles Villiers Stanford…

Experience the warmth and intimacy of Ola Gjeilo, alongside the powerful, luminous voices of today’s leading composers, including Cecilia McDowall, Sarah MacDonald, and Eleanor Daley.

From the great commandment to love one another on Maundy Thursday and the solemn depth of Good Friday to the blazing joy of Easter morning—complete with brass, choir, and timeless hymns—this is more than a concert. It is a journey.

Join us this Holy Week.
Come hear the story.
Come feel the tradition.
Come celebrate the resurrection.

03/30/2026

You are warmly invited to join us for the most sacred and meaningful week of the Christian year as we walk together through the mystery of Christ’s passion, death, and resurrection.

The heart of this journey is the Triduum—the “Three Days” of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil. Though spread across three days, these liturgies are understood as one continuous act of worship, beginning on Thursday evening and culminating in the joy of Easter. Each service flows into the next, inviting us into a single, unfolding story of love, sacrifice, and new life.

✝️ Maundy Thursday
7:00 PM | Choral Eucharist
We remember the Last Supper and Jesus’ commandment to love one another. During this service, children in our First Communion class will receive their First Holy Communion—an important milestone in their faith and in the life of our congregation.
At the conclusion of the liturgy, we process to the chapel for the Altar of Repose, recalling Jesus’ prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane and inviting us to “watch and pray” with him.

8:00 PM–Midnight | Chapel Open for Prayer
Remain or return for quiet prayer and reflection.

12:00 Midnight | St. John Passion Reading
Join us in person or online as we enter Good Friday with the solemn reading of the Passion.

✝️ Good Friday
12:00 Noon | Stations of the Cross
7:30 PM | Ecumenical Service (First Presbyterian Church)
Featuring Crucifixion by John Stainer
We gather to remember Christ’s suffering and death, entering deeply into the mystery of the cross.

🕯️ The Easter Vigil
Saturday | 7:30 PM
Beginning in darkness and moving into radiant light, this ancient and dramatic liturgy traces the story of salvation through scripture, song, and sacrament. With Holy Baptism and the first proclamation of the Resurrection—Christ is risen!—this is one of the most powerful services of the year.

🌅 Easter Sunday
8:30 AM | Eucharist
9:30 AM | Easter Egg Hunt & Coffee Hour
10:30 AM | Festive Choral Eucharist
Celebrate the joy of the Resurrection with worship, music, and community. Enjoy a festive coffee hour with hot cross buns and an Easter egg hunt for all ages, followed by a joyful choral celebration of the risen Christ.

Come for one service or walk the full journey of the Triduum. However you join us, you are welcome as we gather to remember, to watch, to wait—and to rejoice.

Holy Week & Easter 2026

🌿 Palm: Passion Sunday
Sunday, March 29 | 10:30 AM
We begin Holy Week with the procession of palms and the reading of the Passion. This unique liturgy holds together both the triumphal entry into Jerusalem and the solemn journey to the cross.
It is a powerful and moving way to enter into the story of our salvation—one that invites the whole congregation to participate.

During the service, children in our First Communion class will receive their First Holy Communion, marking an important milestone in their faith and in the life of our congregation.
