First Congregational Church of Stamford Missions Our challenge is to understand and to respond to the ongoing needs of both the local and global communities.

First Congregational Church of Stamford has a long tradition of outreach to both the local and global community as demonstrated by the initiation and continuation of a community Thanksgiving dinner and for providing the first home for what is now known as the Shelter for the Homeless.
