What an AMAZING turnout for our Sit and Knit Event! 🧶We had attendees from all levels of expertise and officially completed 80 cotton dishcloths together. The best part? There are even more currently on the needles and pending to be finished!

So proud of this wonderful, crafty community. šŸ¤

A Talk with Tara Thompson: The Exoneration Project
Wednesday, June 17 | 7:00 pm | First Presbyterian Church Lounge

Thompson is an attorney with The Exoneration Project, an organization fighting to free the wrongfully convicted and exonerate the innocent within the justice system.

According to the National Registry of Exonerations, there have been 47 people in Connecticut exonerated for crimes they did not commit. Nationally, that number is 4,291. Experts have estimated that as many as 6%, or over 1 in 20, people convicted of crimes in the United States are actually innocent, including as many as 40% of people convicted of some categories of crimes.

Please join us to hear Tara share about her journey to this work and its significance in our community.

TODAY at 3pm!

The Stamford Chorale presents a powerful program uniting 235 years of choral tradition. The concert features Mozart’s Requiem, his final and unfinished masterpiece, alongside the world premiere of ā€œIf I Were a Billionaireā€ by Emmy Award-winning composer Jasmine Barnes, who will be in attendance. Performed by over 60 Stamford-area singers, the concert will be accompanied by our own Minister of Music, Kevin Bailey on our Visser-Rowland pipe organ.

01/23/2026

Due to the severe weather forecast, and out of an abundance of caution for everyone’s safety, Sunday worship on January 25 and all activities at the church building are canceled. The safety of our congregation and staff is our top priority, and it is both wise and prudent to avoid unnecessary travel risks.

We encourage you to use this time for prayer, reflection, and rest, trusting that even when we are physically apart, we remain connected in faith and community.

You can bring your food donations of cereal and milk with you next Sunday to worship, or bring them to the church later in the week.

The Youth Fellowship for Sunday is cancelled as well. Youth families, be on the lookout for an email from Pastor Shelley.

Please continue to keep our church family in prayer and encourage everyone to stay safe and warm.

Thank you for your support and cooperation as we navigate this weather-related decision.

May you be surrounded by God’s peace and protection.

Blessings
