🔥❤️ Who needs a bonfire when you’ve got a TOASTER OVEN?! 😂

Our Stallings Youth enjoyed some good conversation, Bible study, and a sweet ending to Sunday School last week…S’MORES! And because these kids are resourceful, they didn’t even need a campfire! A toaster oven did the trick! 😂

Good friends, God’s Word, and a little chocolate and marshmallow goodness. Sounds like a pretty great Sunday morning to us! ❤️

🎃 NEXT UP: PUMPKIN CARVING!

Our youth will be getting creative next Thursday, October 29, during their midweek gathering! Meet in the church kitchen and get ready for some pumpkin-carving fun!

And the rest of us get to enjoy their handiwork! Their creations will be on display in the Welcome Area next Sunday!

We love seeing our young people learning, laughing, and making memories together. That’s what church family is all about! ❤️

🎃❤️ FUN FRIDAY: SOMETHING SWEET IS ROLLING AT STALLINGS!

Word has it there’s been a little activity in the church kitchen lately! Flour is flying, pumpkin is piling up, and our ladies are gearing up for one of our sweetest traditions of the year!

Yep! It’s almost PUMPKIN ROLL TIME! 🎉

Right now, they’re gathering ingredients, organizing supplies, and getting ready for the BIG baking day! And trust us, these ladies mean business! 😂

🧡 Preorders will be opening soon!

🧡 Pickup will be the weekend before Thanksgiving!

🧡 Proceeds support our missions!

So stay tuned, friends! Those delicious homemade pumpkin rolls will be back before you know it!

And just so we’re clear…our kitchen doesn’t actually look like this. But knowing these ladies, we’re pretty sure this is what it FEELS like on baking day! 🤣❤️

❤️ GOD IS GOOD! ALL. THE. TIME.

Sometimes God answers a prayer in a way that just leaves you standing there in awe.

Not because He had to prove His goodness. But because He reminds us, in the sweetest and most unexpected ways, just how much He cares.

About the big things. The little things. Even the things that might not mean much to anybody else.

And suddenly, all you can say is THANK YOU, LORD! ❤️

“I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy.” — Psalm 116:1 (NIV)

And verse 2 reminds us that He turns His ear toward us.

Oh, what a wonderful God we serve! He is so so good!

We saw this on a friend’s t- shirt recently and were reminded: Two little words. A whole lot of possibilities!

John Wesley encouraged us to do all the good we can, in all the ways we can, for as long as we can.

And you know what? It doesn’t have to be something big! A kind word, a helping hand, a little encouragement. Sometimes the smallest things make the biggest difference.

We’ve been around since 1911, and we still think that’s pretty good advice! ❤️

Whenever. Whoever. However. Wherever. Forever.

Now go find a little good to do today, friends! And if you can put it on a T-shirt- all the better!❤️

❤️🎄 Oh, how we love our Ginny!

If enthusiasm were contagious, Ginny Bernstorf would have the whole world smiling!

This past Sunday, Ginny kicked off our Operation Christmas Child shoebox ministry at Stallings Church, and nobody brings more heart to the job!

Ginny is quite the phenomenon at her retirement community, too! But what makes her so special isn’t just her energy. It’s her genuine love for the Lord, her church, and PEOPLE!

She reminds us that you’re never too old to make a difference, never too busy to serve, and there’s always room for a little more joy when you’re doing something for Jesus.

Ginny, we love you, we appreciate you, and we’re so thankful you’re part of our Stallings family! ❤️

☕❤️ Well, here we are. Monday again!

Same routines. Same to-do lists. Maybe even some of the same old worries. Sometimes all that can leave us feeling a little stuck.

Romans 12:2 reminds us that God renews our minds. We just have to be willing to let go of old ways of thinking and let Him work in us.

Don’t be stuck today, friends! Be transformed by the renewing of your mind! We believe that’s the best way to start the week. ❤️

🌿 LOOK WHAT GREW! ❤️

From bare branches to a beautiful expression of faith, creativity, and teamwork — our Stallings Church youth have put the finishing touches on a very special project!

Inspired by John 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches,” this project is a beautiful reminder that faith continues to grow from one generation to the next.

And the best part? Every brushstroke, every handwritten verse, and every fingerprint tells a story of young people growing together in Christ. ❤️

Of course, no youth gathering would be complete without a little pizza and plenty of fun! 🍕

Our youth will gather this Thursday evening for another fun project! Their pumpkin creations will be showcased in the church welcome area on Sunday, October 25!

⛪ Did you know?

Our church’s story began around 1911, largely through the efforts of P. D. and Margaret Drye, in a growing little community called Stallings.

The railroad brought people and business to town, and the country store was a gathering place for neighbors. In fact, before there was a church building, Methodist worship services were held in an old store building!

A church building followed in 1912. But in 1919, lightning struck and the building burned. Neighbors formed a bucket brigade to try to save it, but the fire was too much. The congregation rebuilt, and that building remains part of our church today.

From a country store to 115 years of faith and fellowship, one thing hasn’t changed: the importance of faith and community. ❤️

A place to worship. A family to belong to.
