• The Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and inerrant written word of God.

• That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the H

oly Spirit.

• In the blessed hope, which is the rapture of the church of God, which is in Christ at His return.

• That the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance, faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ and accepting the gospel according to Romans 10:9-10 which reads: "If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved."

• That the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing in prayer.

• That the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it. "And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability." (Acts 2:4)

• In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.

Last week, Chapter 12 taught us something special: we are the sacrificer to God and we are the sacrifice to God. We are the living temple and the living sacrifice. That is the ultimate result of our witness: we teach what we believe to know it; we become what we believe as identity; we live what we believe as worship.

This week, we take a look at verses 3-21 of chapter 12. God has done something spectacular: he has transformed individuals to weave them together in community. What happens then when a community no longer exists as a collection of parts but functions as a singular whole? Let's find out together......

Each week, we are organizing our study around three simple but powerful questions:
• What has God done? (Doctrine)
• Who am I now because of that? (Identity)
• How should I live? (Practice)

My prayer is that this study will not only deepen our understanding but also strengthen our faith and transform the way we live. Below is some background information on Romans.

Romans Fast Facts:
1. Who wrote Romans? Paul.

2. When was Romans written? 57 AD (25 years after the death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus)

3. What is Romans teaching me today? Real faith produces real change.

Last week, we examined the depth of human responsibility through the topic: Everybody Can Get It. The Gospel or good news about Jesus is that he didn't exclude anyone from being able to receive salvation. While Jesus has done most of the "heavy lifting", we still have

This week, we take a look at chapter 11 to see why God has chosen us to be in His family and a part of him. (Here's a hint: we didnt earn or deserve it. Its by His sovereign mercy.)

Last week, examine Romans 9 through the topic: The Sovereignty of God. God holds not just the power but the authority to rule over the affairs of humanity. He rules, reigns, and governs. This allows us to stand in a position where we are humble and dependent, yet confident and secure.

This week, we take a look at chapter 10 and ask "Who qualifies for the grace that brings salvation?" Paul answers with one word in verse 13: "EVERYONE!!!" (NLT)
