👉When a political movement starts treating slurs like trophies, it is basically admitting it has nothing real to sell anymore.

They turned "being allowed to be cruel in public" into a substitute for better wages, safer streets, and cheaper groceries.

The slur is not the point, it is the loyalty test: prove you hate the right people, prove you are not constrained by basic decency, and you are in the club.

If your big victory is that your guy can say "ret*rd" on camera, you have already accepted permanent decline as long as you can punch down while it happens.

That is not conservatism, it is just a culture of boredom and resentment dressed up as politics.

And what they said in the video was not news to service members. They know this. We all have. It served to remind the service members that WE are aware of their obligation to uphold to the law and won’t blame them for doing the right thing.

Trump defenders are screaming about six lawmakers and vets urging service members to "defy the president." Yes, when a president is a convicted criminal who is unabashedly giving illegal orders and attempting to destroy the rule of law for his own benefit then the democratic, the patriotic, the LEGALLY REQUIRED thing to do is to defy that president's illegal orders. Refusing illegal orders is a basic duty spelled out in the Military Code of Ethics, and in American law.
