With great joy and gratitude to God, St. Gregorios Malankara Orthodox Church- Bensalem, PA is blessed to share that our beloved Vicar, Shibu Venad Mathai has been selected as one of the six finalists in the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church’s Metropolitan (Episcopal) selection process.

For the past 15 years, our parish has been abundantly blessed by Achen’s faithful leadership, humble service, compassionate care, and unwavering dedication to Christ and His Holy Church. He has shepherded our parish with love, wisdom, and prayer, touching countless lives along the way.

The countdown is on!

This weekend, we are excited to welcome teams from across the Southern Region for the 2026 Southern Regional Orthodox Sports Tournament, hosted by our church.

More than 400 participants from Texas and Oklahoma will come together, forming 40 teams and representing 15 Orthodox churches. It promises to be an incredible weekend of fellowship, friendly competition, and community.

Whether you're playing, cheering on your church team, or simply enjoying the fellowship, there is something for everyone. Come experience the excitement as athletes of all ages compete, friendships are strengthened, and our community unites in Christ!

We warmly invite everyone to join us throughout the weekend, and especially on Sunday as we conclude the tournament together in worship and thanksgiving.
