Transition Place

Transition Place Transition Place exists to reach those souls that do not yet know Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior.

Our goal is to reach people where they are, accept, love, teach and lead them to salvation. Pastor Carl Armstrong & Lady Tisha Armstrong

Transition Place Vision: That we will be an attractive place of solace for the sin sick, outcast, unchurched souls who would normally not find themselves in a traditional church congregation. That we will be the spiritual location where the old person of sin bec

omes the new person in Christ. The place where true transformation and growth takes place in mind, body and soul. The sinner that enters Transition Place becomes an active, productive, healthy, mature Christian, thereby becoming a credible witness for Christ.

David wished he could die for his son, but couldn't bear Absalom's sins. A greater son, Jesus, fulfilled that wish, dying for the rebellious, broken, guilty, bitter, and unforgiving. He died for us all.

Unaddressed wounds don't heal; they deepen. David's love for Absalom, uncommunicated, bred misunderstanding. Ambition mixed with bitterness and perceived rejection fueled Absalom's rebellion, stealing hearts and undermining his father's leadership. This wasn't just politics; it was personal.

Unforgiveness can twist even righteous outrage into a destructive force. Absalom's grief over his sister's violation led him down a path where he became judge, jury, and executioner. This is the dangerous deception of unforgiveness.

Absalom's rebellion wasn't the start. It began with David's private sin, which bore public consequences. Children often bear the weight of what parents normalize. One hidden disobedience can poison an entire family system.

David wept for his rebellious son, but God gave His son for us. Absalom died by his choices; Jesus died for ours. On the cross, justice and mercy met as Jesus prayed, 'Father, forgive them.' This is ultimate forgiveness.

Generational family strife is often the result of unrepented sin, neglected hurt, favoritism, and lack of courage to deal with deep seeded issues. As a result, frustration, disrespect, aggression, and rebellion boil out of this dysfunction. At the root of it all is a lack of truth, forgiveness, humility and courage. Today's sermon deal with this problem. Let's Learn & Grow Together At Transition Place!
