A few weeks ago, the women from Beauty for Ashes visited our church and touched many hearts. They truly are a living, breathing testimony of the ways God is working in their lives and the lives of their children. Here’s a video from a member of our church showing Amelia, their daughter, singing one of the songs the ladies presented. Don’t underestimate what our little ones are absorbing each week from our gathering! They are watching and listening 💚

"Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ." Ephesians 3:8

One of the songs we will sing this Sunday, "Give Me Jesus," is an adaptation of F***y Crosby's 1879 hymn, and it invites us to consider what we value most. Do you value material comforts, attention, financial security, and youth? Most of these things are not inherently bad, but if they become more important than knowing Christ, they become the most valuable things in our lives. They will fade, but His love abides forever. Ultimately, our peace is not found in a trouble-free life; it is found in the presence of our Savior.
