Love is more than a feeling.
It is the daily work of showing patience, compassion, forgiveness, and care for one another.

In anxious and divided times, love becomes holy resistance against fear, cruelty, and isolation.

“Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” -Colossians 3:14

May we bear Christ into the world by loving well: neighbors and strangers, communities and ourselves.

Come worship with us, 9:30am on Sunday! In the pulpit we have a new face, Elder Tiwanna Duncan.

Tiwanna is a graduate of the Black Ministries Program at Hartford International University for Religion and Peace. For years, she was involved in church planting and was ordained to ministry in 2005. She provides pulpit supply to a few different churches around CT.

From our Missions team:
There will be a special collection taken to help out. This Sunday, at our 9:30am service.

Help us help our neighbors in need! Our neighbors at 29 Maple Street, Somersville, lost everything but the clothes on their backs in a house fire during the very early morning of Thursday, May 21st. Our church is collecting gift cards to retailers that can help the family fill a home with the essential items. Gift cards to Amazon, Walmart, Kohls, Target, eBay, and the like work well. Drop off the cards to the church at 22 Maple Street on Tuesday, May 26th through Friday, May 29th from 8 a.m. to noon or call the office at 860-749-7741 and leave a message to make other arrangements. Alternately, donations may be given to Matthew Cox, Somers Director of Human Services, 619 Main Street during the town's Monday-Thursday business hours. Thank you and bless you!
