Trail Missions

Trail Missions Join us in supporting/praying for/participating in opportunities to spread the Gospel through hiking, backpacking and other outdoor activities.

Trail Missions is a group dedicated to as-you-go evangelism opportunities on the trails of the United States and abroad. Currently we are focused on the Appalachian Trail and other nearby trails in the southeast region.Trips can be day hikes, overnight, or multi-day backpacking trips. The core of Trail Missions is to live out your life on the trail and be intentional about sharing the Gospel with

those you meet in a non-confrontational way - typically just as a by-product of getting to know new people and representing who you are as a follower of Christ. This is NOT a pamphlet distribution ministry, and anyone who is interested in hiking and willing to share the Gospel should the opportunity arise is qualified to join us!

Who's ready to go backpacking this fall & winter?

We're planning to hit some local trails here in the GA/NC/TN region as well as putting together another trip to Cumberland Island. These are all really inexpensive weekend trips, and routes are friendly for all experience levels.

If you are interested in JOINING a trip, check out the events tab for our current schedule!

If you're interested in LEADING a trip with your group, send us a private message so we can equip your group with some Trail Missions materials and info to help you be intentional with the Gospel while you're out hiking!
