There is a stark reality in life that becomes truly apparent only when we lose something as simple, yet profoundly significant, as our parents. The experience of washing, shrouding, and burying them, fully conscious that we will never see them again….is both heart wrenching and eye-opening. It is in these moments that we come to understand how much we take life for granted, especially the presence of our parents.

For those fortunate enough to still have their parents by their side, I sincerely urge you to cherish the time you have with them. The opportunity to be around our parents is precious and should never be overlooked or taken lightly.
