Sometimes our words fall short when we try to describe the depth of God's love and mercy. John Wesley compiled a collection of prayers for families to use each day. His recommended prayer for Thursday evening--which this prayer is adapted from--invites us to consider the ways in which we encounter the goodness of God.

🙏 Receive this prayer today:

“Loving God, your mercy is in everything and your goodness extends beyond our ability to comprehend.
We are thankful for the hope of life we witness in Jesus Christ.
Guide us towards being monuments of your grace through your forgiveness and mercy.
Amen.”
