St. Bernadette's offers two Bible Study options each week - Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. Father Bob walks participants through the Sunday readings to help us understand the meaning and application of the scriptures. There is also opportunity to ask questions and grow in your faith. No background or Bible knowledge needed; just come as you are (with your Bible).

This weekend, parishioners will have the opportunity to make their annual pledge to support the many pastoral and educational ministries of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Our Holy Saturday Easter Vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Join us for the most sacred and special liturgy of the year as we joyfully celebrate the Lord’s Resurrection from the tomb. We start in the darkened church with a series of beautiful Old Testament reading and Psalms. Then we gather outside the front doors to light the New Fire and the Christ Candle. Now we process quietly into the dark church, each lighting their small Easter candle and singing “Christ Our Light!” as our worship space gradually gets light enough for the Easter Proclamation. After the Liturgy of Word, we begin the Rite of Blessing the Water, which includes the Profession of Faith of our three RCIA candidates and their Confirmation. All of us renew our own Baptismal Promises and are sprinkled with the newly blessed water. Finally the Liturgy of the Eucharist with the First Communion of our three new members.
