Our deepest sympathy to Cousin Mary Johnson, wife of James. He was the son in law of 105 year Aunt Elizabeth Carper of Benton, Louisiana. You may recall at the Willis Reunion in Louisiana Cousin James hosted the guys at his pond for fishing while Cousin Mary hosted the ladies at a “Hat Bazaar”. A prayer of Thanksgiving for the Life of James Johnson, Lord hear our prayer!

Special condolences for Cousin Mike, Cousin Stan, Cousin Carolyn, and Cousin Calvin J Porter as they celebrate the wonderful life and legacy of their mother, Lula Mae Gratton. 💐🕊️

Our deepest sympathy for the passing of Cousin Lula Mae Stanford Porter Gratten. Pictured is Cousin LulaMae with Cousin Denise and Cousin LulaMae with her sister, nieces, nephew, & cousin after a wedding in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Cousin LulaMae is one of the nieces of the late JoeAnn Stanford Willis, cousin to Larry Joe, Denise, Carl, Bobby, Earl Willis. She is also the sister to Cousin Vera and known as Mom to CJ, Mike, Stan and Carolyn. Keep our family in prayer as families travel and attend Cousin LulaMae’s Homecoming Service in KCMO.

Service for Lula Mae Gratten will be held at Serenity Funeral Home. 1101 East Bannister Rd., Kansas City, Missouri 64131 on June 13, 2026. The wait is from 10AM til 11AM. The service starts at 11AM.

There will be a live stream starting at 10:30AM.
