For all who have been involved or interested in the garden, you can read below about Resurrection Church closing this Sunday (Aug 25). I do want to let you know, however, that we're planning on the garden going forward...so stay tuned.

With a deep sense of sadness, I (Pastor Chris Smith) regret to announce that Resurrection Presbyterian Church, which we planted in Carondelet 3.5 years ago is closing. We will hold our final worship service this Sunday August 25th at 11:00 a.m. I’m grateful to report that there’s no scandal, no division or rancor, we just couldn’t sustain the church in terms of people & money. It’s been a great joy for me to be the pastor at Resurrection. I hope to retain some involvement in the community and I look forward to continuing in relationship with the many people I’ve had the privilege of getting to know in the last several years, because of Resurrection. Thanks to all of you who have supported Resurrection, Resurrection Presbyterian Church's Garden of Life, Speaking of Faith, and many other things with your prayers, your resources, your friendship, and your encouragement. Thanks especially to the people of Resurrection who have given themselves to the work of Christ’s church.

Thanks Kirsten Franklin Petty!
