The Salvation Army is pleased to announce the 2023 Doing the Most Good Awards & Civic Dinner, on April 27, at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac.
The 2023 Doing the Most Good Awards & Civic Dinner will honor individuals and organizations who have made exceptional contributions to the community and are committed to supporting The Salvation Army's mission of serving others.
The event will welcome the National Advisory Board members to St. Louis and have remarks from the National Commander of The Salvation Army, Commissioner Kenneth Hodder.
"We are thrilled to be able to honor those who have gone above and beyond in their support of The Salvation Army," said Lt. Colonel Robert Webster, Divisional Commander of The Salvation Army Midland Division. "Their contributions have helped to make a real difference in the lives of those in need, and we are deeply grateful for their commitment to our mission.”
The event begins at 6 p.m. with Yolonda Lankford hosting the evening as Mistress of Ceremonies. Internationally respected vocalist Denise Thimes will entertain during dinner, followed by the awards presentations.
The awards will recognize outstanding achievements in four categories: Volunteer Service, Individual Support, Program Impact, and Community Partner.
