Crossing the Finish Line - We are inches away from meeting the $20,000 fund raising goal. Several $100 gifts, and a handful of smaller $5 and $10 gifts came in last night. The total is now $18,929. I just put in $71 to bring us up to an even $19,000.

That makes $1,000 left to raise!

Please if you can, throw in a few dollars extra (just $5 or $10) to get us across the finish line.

Work on the wall starts Wednesday and we have been been able to pay the first of three payments due to your generousity.

Exciting News at St. Mary of Victories!

We are pleased to announce a partnership between St. Mary of Victories and the St. Joseph Tradesmen Guild, a newly forming association of Catholic tradesmen dedicated to deepening their spiritual lives, supporting one another in the practice of their faith, and engaging in charitable works within our community. The Guild will gather regularly at St. Mary of Victories for fellowship, formation, and Holy Mass.

We are grateful to welcome these faithful Catholic craftsmen to St. Mary of Victories and look forward to seeing this partnership bear fruit for both the Guild and our chapel community.

Please join us in praying for the success of the St. Joseph Tradesmen Guild and for the intercession of St. Joseph, patron of workers and protector of the Holy Family.

St. Joseph, pray for us!

A big SMV thank you goes out to Ian, Steve, Milton, and Max, all of whom who have donated their work in the last week to beautify the landscape and gardens. Also the clearing of brush and a dead tree makes it possible for the work on the security wall to begin next week.

We are within $1,400 of reaching our goal for funding the security wall repairs, by the way. Any donations are most welcome to help round out the amount for the wall is maybe even some landscaping enhancements (barberry bushes, rocks) to discourage intruders and campers.

Thanks to everyone who donated!!

Did you know that June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus?

For Catholics, the Sacred Heart is a beautiful reminder that Christ's love is personal, compassionate, and never-ending. It is a love that heals wounds, offers hope, and draws us closer to Him.

As we begin the month of June, we invite you to join us in a simple prayer:

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You.
