Jesus Rises from Grave

Matthew 28:5-6 Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the hope and victory found in the resurrection of Jesus. In a moment that began with fear and sorrow, You revealed joy, life and triumph over death. Lord, help me not to keep searching for life in places where it cannot be found. Open my eyes to see the living Christ at work in my life today. Strengthen my faith so that I trust not only in what You have done, but in what You are continuing to do. May the reality of the resurrection transform how I live, giving me courage, joy and purpose.

Laid in Tomb
John 19:40-42 Following Jewish burial custom, they wrapped Jesus’ body with the
spices in long sheets of linen cloth. The place of crucifixion was near a garden,
where there was a new tomb, never used before. And so, because it was the day of
preparation for the Jewish Passover and since the tomb was close at hand, they laid
Jesus there.

Lord, in this quiet and solemn moment, I see the care and reverence shown to Jesus after his suffering. Even in death, He was honored with love and dignity. Lord, teach me to honor You not only in moments of celebration, but also in moments of
silence, grief and waiting. When life is still or uncertain, help me to trust that You are still at work. Thank You that this is not the end of the story. Even in stillness, hope is alive.

// 3 THINGS YOUR PASTOR IS PRAYING YOU'LL DO AT EASTER SERVICES //

1) Pray for the services before you come, as you enter, and especially during the invitation. People do not need more INFORMATION as much as they need divine REVELATION of Jesus Christ.

2) Sit in the front middle of the room and worship your heart out.

The way a church WORSHIPS is one of the most powerful evangelistic tools we have.

1 Corinthians 14 says that the worship of the church can cause outsiders to, “fall on their faces and declare that God is really among you.” This weekend, worship with a passion and Biblical expressiveness that causes guests to look around and say, “God is really among these people.” Sing LOUD. Lift holy hands in worship. Shout. Clap.

3) Studies show if YOU ASK, 80% of people will say yes if invited to an Easter service by a friend.

It doesn't have to be cringe, just shoot a text like this:

"Hey man, our fam is headed to Impact Church this weekend, and honestly it's been such a win for us and the kids. No pressure, but if y'all don't have anyplace yet, do you wanna come hang with us??"
