🙏🏾 As believers in Jesus Christ, we are not only called to live in peace but also empowered through Christ to be peacemakers.

🙌🏽Jesus is our perfect example, standing between God and humanity to reconcile a broken relationship. Through the Holy Ghost, God has entrusted us with the ministry of reconciliation. As Scripture declares, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.” In honor of Father’s Day, let us follow the example of our Heavenly Father and strive to be peacemakers in our homes, churches, and communities.

⚠️ Construction is still underway at the Temple! Be on the lookout this week for an update so you can see the progress being made and the exciting work taking place.

🎓 We are continuing to celebrate the graduates of Bethesda Temple Church! This time, we are recognizing our college graduates, who were honored with tokens of love for accomplishing such a significant milestone.

👏🏾 Congratulations to Sis. Fox, Bro. Johnson, Sis. Ledford, and Dr. Jones-Boyd! Your church family is incredibly proud of you and all that you have achieved. May God continue to bless you as you move forward into this next chapter.

🚨 3 BAPTIZED IN JESUS’ NAME & 1 FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST (a first time visitor, might we add!) 🚨

🙌🏽 Today was absolutely special, we welcomed back our campers & staff from Camp JAM. We received a wonderful report from Sis. Jennifer Wade & Min. Larreon Ridgel! Sis. Wade was recognized for her tremendous efforts getting Camp off the ground after an 8 year hiatus.

🔥 Our First Lady preached the house down with a message entitled, “Choose Your Weapon!” She emphasized what Jesus resorted to when He was as tempted by the devil: the Word of God. Believers in Jesus have no excuse to live a defeated life, we have the victory. We must get up and FIGHT the right way. 😉

🙏🏽 Let us continue to pray for one another, the effectual fervent of a righteous man avails much.

👏🏾 We praise our Great God for what He has done amongst our youth! Moments like let us know how bright our future is. Today is the last day of camp, our youth & staff will be heading back home. Let us continue to pray for safe travels!

🙌🏾 A special shout-out to our Camp Coordinator, Sis. Jennifer Wade & her staff, on a successful reboot of Camp J.A.M. God has reminded us that His hand is still on this endeavor!

😳 8 more souls received the Holy Ghost last night! God is doing an incredible work among our young people, and we are so grateful!

Here's a recap from yesterday:

🙌🏾 Our guest speaker, Pastor Jonathan Johnson, arrived safely at camp.

💃🏾 Praise Dance Workshop led by Sis. Trynai Brasselman

🎤 Praise & Worship Clinic led by Min. Rachel Ferguson

💧 During another workshop, students participated in a powerful object lesson. A bottle of water represented the heart, while pepper represented negative influences and impurities. The water was then poured through a filter representing the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, illustrating how God's Word and Spirit cleanse, guide, and filter out the things that don't belong in our lives.

We are thankful for what God is doing at CAMP J.A.M. and can't wait to see what He has in store next! 🙌🏾🔥
