This Sunday night from 6-8 pm we will have the first meeting of the Student Leadership Team. There are lots of places where we want and need your input to determine our events and topics for the coming year. Be there to share your voice! Susan will also be available that evening if you have questions or ideas in relation to the announcement that went out today regarding the future of CTYouth. Please join us! You, the youth, are the heart and soul of this program and we need you!

Everyone heads back to school in the next few days, some started yesterday, most of you return next Monday. CTYouth and your church family are praying for you to have the most wonderful school year. We love you and are here to cheer you on all year long!!! Fall Kick-Off is in a few weeks, join us on Sunday, September 7th 6-8pm to tell us all about your first few weeks!!!! WHO’s COMING???? I need numbers?!?!
CTYouth students - Mark your calendars - let’s grab one last moment of summer together! Lake Day 2025 will again be hosted by the Hite-Mitchell family at their lake house in Bonne Terre. We will leave Sunday, August 17th, immediately following the 9am church service. We will need to arrange carpool drivers, so please RSVP! Lunch will be provided and you can bring your own life jackets if you have them available. We will have tubing, paddle boards, swimming and lnots of fun, don’t miss it!

We are creating a Student Leadership Team that will meet a briefly before regular Sunday nights a few times throughout the year to provide ongoing input and leadership to our ministry. Students that are willing to be a part of the leadership team can self nominate by contacting Susan Moellering and filling the Nomination Form , all interested can join. We intend for this commitment to provide a more youth-centered, youth-led experience for our students, leadership development opportunities for those that participate and structured leadership experience for those applying for honor societies, scholarships and college admission. We are excited to let more of our programs be designed and led by our students and can’t wait to implement their exciting plans. This group will meet on August 24th to invite and welcome incoming 6th graders and finalize plans for Fall Kick-Off and the first new worship night! All students are welcome and invited to help us lead!

This Sunday, July 27th is our last Summer Bible Study & Swimming night! Join us for Sloppy Joe's dinner and fun starting at 5pm this Sunday night at Mickey and Joyce Stringfield's house! A big thank you to the Weiss adult small group for providing dinner and much appreciation to the Stringfields and Givens families for all they do to coordinate and host such a fun summer series!

We have a plan! NEXT MONDAY & THURSDAY, July 14th & 17th, 4-7pm. All CTYouth members that want to hang out, give your input on next year's stuff, eat good food, etc, meet at church, we will walk somewhere to grab food and do some connection time and some group planning! On this last day of Pride month, in case it needs to be said, I am here if anyone needs a safe place to be, a shoulder to cry on, someone to listen to them, or someone to stand up with them and remind them that they are amazing just as they are, that they are valuable beyond measure and that they are loved deeply by me and by God and that will be just as true tomorrow and the entire rest of the year as it is today! The good news is you guys are having some great work experiences, water polo events, and family vacations, the bad news is that means we are postponing Bible study this week and we will see everyone at Topgolf on Tuesday or at the end of July for more Bible Study and swim!
