ACTION ST. LOUIS: ALL IN FOR NORTH CITY

Its been ONE YEAR since the May 16th, 2025 tornado devastated the Northside of St. Louis, yet recovery efforts have been extremely unjust. North City residents have been advocating for the past year for help from the City in rebuilding their lives. The City’s response? Delay, delay, delay. The City continues to have excuse after excuse on why the Northside hasn’t seen an equal and fast recovery, but we won’t accept their excuses!

Join a coalition of organizations for a rally and press conference where we tell our elected officials that we are ALL IN FOR NORTH CITY, and they need to be too! Be prepared to make some noise! Bring some signs and make sure to bring a water!

Around the world, millions of people lack access to sustainable food sources, clean water, sanitation, education, and opportunity. The work supported by One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) - disaster, hunger, poverty, climate change, and immigration/migration and refugees — serves individuals and communities in need, and provides people with safety, sustenance, and hope.

Special envelopes are in the pews for the OGHS offering. You may also make a gift with check or cash written to Second Presbyterian, earmarked for “OGHS”. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

The choirs are led by Dr. Jon Arnold, director of choral studies and co-director of the Master of Music in choral conducting program.

They will also join the Choir of Second Presbyterian Church in worship on Sunday, March 8th at 10:30am. Join us!
