UMCOR consultants UMCOR US Disaster Response consultants serve God and the United Methodist Church by training, mentor

The joy of working for UMCOR as a disaster response consultant in the US includes the opportunities we have to train and support United Methodist Conferences, to meet and mentor fellow disaster responders who are developing training and response programs and to be present with disaster survivors as they walk along the road to recovery.

Join us in prayer for the people of the Southeast as makes landfall in Florida as a potentially catastrophic category 4 storm.

In this dangerous situation, we remind those in the storm's path to follow the instructions of your local government and stay tuned to your local media for updates. UMCOR is in close contact with the impacted United Methodist conferences and their conference disaster response coordinators. As a reminder, please do not self-deploy. We will share updates on how you can help as they become available.

You can help by donating to UMCOR U.S. Disaster Response for this and other disasters throughout the United States. https://advance.umcmission.org/p-620-umcor-us-disaster-response-and-recovery.aspx

ATTENTION FRIENDS IN HARD HIT DISASTER AREAS

Please follow generator safety guidelines so that you will not harm yourself, your family or others:

This is the new landing page for the Ternado Recovery Connection, a project of the Tennessee Conference of the United Methodist Church, in partnership with UMCOR and the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

Please share with those who are still recovering from the March 3 tornadoes! COVID is making it hard, so please join us in this partnership.

In partnership with the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Recover Wilson County, the Tornado Recovery Connection Helpline provides callers throughout Middle Tennessee with resources for immediate relief and helps identify those with long-term needs.
