What does it actually mean to be a disciple of Jesus?

Is it simply believing the right things, or does God's grace change the way we live, love, work, and interact with the world around us?

This Sunday, we kicked off Summer by looking at Ephesians 2:1-10 and the truth that discipleship begins with God's grace moving first. Grace doesn't just change where we spend eternity. It changes who we become.

Because of God's grace, we become:
• A different kind of neighbor
• A different kind of home
• A different presence in the marketplace
• A different kind of people in the battles we face

What a great Sunday at Bridge City Church! ❤️

We loved celebrating Mother’s Day together with family photos, Chocolate buffet, lots of kids crafts, and a reminder of just how much God cares for His people.

This week we looked at Isaiah 66 and the beautiful promise:
“As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.”

The resurrection reminds us that God is not distant or absent. He is alive, present, and still meeting people with comfort, grace, and hope right in the middle of everyday life.

We’re thankful for all the moms and mother figures who reflect that kind of love and care so well.
