Family Sunday reminds us that kids aren’t just the future of the church… they’re part of the church RIGHT NOW!! 💙🧡🩵

Every time a month has five Sundays, we get to do something extra special on the 5th one! We pause our elementary programming and invite our Kindergarten-5th graders to join their families in the worship service for Family Sunday! Kids worshiped, read God’s Word, and took communion together with their parents, grandparents, small group leaders, and entire church family all in one room. 💙

What a beautiful picture of generations coming together to help one another follow Jesus. 💙

What a beautiful picture of a mom living out her calling as a disciple-maker in the lives of her children! 🥹❤️

This summer, she had the incredible honor of baptizing three of her children—a beautiful reminder that the home is one of the greatest places to make disciples.

We’re celebrating the faithfulness of this mom and praying that her children will continue to know, love, and follow Jesus all their lives! 🙏🏼

We celebrated 19 amazing rising 6th graders as they took their next step from Children’s Ministry into Student Ministry. 🥹💙🧡🩵

These students have spent years learning God’s Word, discovering the Gospel, building friendships, worshiping, and growing in their faith.

As part of Move Up Sunday, each student received a Bible with their name on it—a reminder to hide God’s Word in their hearts, stand firm in truth, and let His Word guide their steps. 📖

They may be moving up and heading into middle school, but our prayer remains the same.. that they would know Jesus, love His Word, live boldly for Him, serve His Church, and become disciple-makers wherever He leads them.

Seven years from now, we’ll celebrate these same students on this stage for Graduation Sunday. Until then, we’re trusting God with every step.

Our preschoolers officially POPPED up to Kindergarten! 🥳🍿
And what a fun new adventure they’re stepping into! 💛 Our new kindergarteners now get to join the rest of our elementary kids in The Bridge for live worship + a large-group Bible story, then head into small groups to dive even deeper into God’s Word together. 📖❤️

And of course… they celebrated their big first day with fresh-popped popcorn on the way out! 🍿😋

We are SO excited to watch these little Kingdom kids grow, learn, worship, and share Jesus with their world! 🌎❤️

Children 1st grade and up are invited to join us for this year’s Christmas Play! Registration will close on Monday, August 31, so be sure to sign up soon.

-Singing, dancing, and acting opportunities.
-No experience necessary!

Five nights. Countless smiles. Eternal impact. 💙

Our Preschool VBS team showed up night after night to love, serve, and disciple some of our youngest kids. From worship and crafts to games, snacks, crew leadership, tech, and one-on-one buddies for children with disabilities, every role helped create a place where preschoolers could learn that Jesus is alive!

At Canoe Creek, we believe discipleship starts early, and we’re so thankful for a team that invests their time, energy, and hearts into the next generation. Thank you for making VBS a safe, fun, and Christ-centered experience for every child who walked through our doors. 🙌

You didn’t just serve for 5 nights, you helped plant seeds of faith that can last a lifetime. 🌱❤️
