Remnant Ministries

Remnant Ministries AwakenTheRemnant.com After being a youth pastor in St. Louis for three years, Justin Church Ministries was launched in the summer of 2008.

Awaken The Remnant is part of Remnant Ministries, founded in 2008, to advance God's Kingdom, share God’s love, and build God’s church through the prophetic direction of God, prayer, worship, discipleship, and fellowship. Justin began preaching and leading worship in churches, schools, youth centers, coffeehouses, and businesses. In 2015, JCM became Remnant Ministries and Awaken The Remnant was bor

n. Awaken The Remnant was established to advance God’s Kingdom, share God’s love, and build God’s church through the prophetic direction of God, prayer, worship, discipleship, and fellowship. Incorporating the five-fold ministry, ATR will stop at nothing to awaken people that love God go even deeper in Christ and present Jesus to those that do not know Him, yet desire Truth. Remnant Ministries does not affiliate with any denomination. Jesus offers an unbiased Truth that we won't filter through preconceived ideologies and traditions. ATR is Kingdom-minded, in order to rise above opinions, personal interpretations, and denominational barriers. The Remnant community is a grassroots / early church movement. If it is in the Bible we believe it, follow it, and preach it. If it is not in the Bible, we do not practice it nor acknowledge it as anything more than heresy (extra-Biblical). We are Pentecostal in experience and Apostolic in identity. We believe in the power of the Holy Ghost, which was first poured out on the day of Pentecost and continues to this day. We believe in complete restoration, which includes tearing down historical, political, and traditional filters in that we may look at what the Bible actually declares: How one must live in accordance to the Scriptures, including a life of modesty of spirit, mind, thought, and image. [2 Corinthians 5:14-21]

We are what you might call a "free church," as compared to the majority of churches that maintain their status in the 501(c)3 non-profit sector. What this means is that we are intrinsically separate from the government in every way possible. We do not accept church policy nor theology to be swayed by the government through funding. We completely rely on help from the congregation and ultimately God to carry out His work. You can read a complete overview of this on Wikipedia.com. When you visit, you will find nothing is fabricated, manipulated, nor forced. We only want an authentic move of the Holy Ghost. We hope you will find our Spirit-led worship to be exciting and passionate, setting the atmosphere for God to move. The preaching is dynamic and convicting, designed to deepen our relationship with God and allow God to speak for Himself. To be Apostolic Pentecostal is to hold our confidence and identity in Christ Jesus only, without wavering, and full of truth and faith. [Hebrews 3:12-19] As we live by the Spirit, we will walk by the Spirit, and not satisfy the desires of the flesh. [Galatians 5]

If Jesus is truly LORD of your life and you know Heaven is worth whatever the cost, you are already part of God's remnant. If you are in the area, we would love for you to worship with us. Come expecting and experience both personal and communal revival and restoration. Check out the website for more information.

Of COURSE living for God is difficult, when you keep believing all the wrong things!!!

When you believe that you just need to be a better version of you, you will never get to heaven. Jesus doesn’t want a BETTER you... He wants a NEW you! A new you that lets Him live inside you and empower you to live as holy as He is holy - a life without continuing in sin!

John 8:36
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

Romans 6:12-14, 22-23
“12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

2 Corinthians 5:17-21
“17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Galatians 5:1, 16, 24-25
“1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bo***ge.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”

1 John 3:5-9
“5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.”

The same boiling water that makes the potato soft will harden the egg. It’s not about the circumstance. It’s about what you are made of. How do you respond?

We are a mess without God.

07/21/2018

When will we ever learn - doing our own thing, the way we want it done is what got us in this mess.

It is only when we stop doing things on our own and allow the Holy Ghost to take over and do things God’s way, that we will honestly overcome.

07/21/2018

Allow God to reign the order of service - where we don't watch the clock and where we seek His will, not our own. His agenda, not man’s. When we truly seek revival we will see revival, and we will experience revival.

In the quiet times, when we rid ourselves of all the hype, we can truly stand in the presence of God and get what we need. Otherwise all we get is an emotional rush and call it God.
