ROGATION SUNDAY May 10, 2026: Rogation Sunday is the sixth Sunday of Easter and marks the beginning of Rogationtide. The term comes from the Latin rogare (to ask), and the day is traditionally set aside to pray for God's blessings on the community, agriculture, and commerce.

SEEKING NEW MEMBERS OF THE ALTAR GUILD

The work of the Altar Guild, though often unseen, plays a vital role in the worship of our church. Membership carries a deep sense of reverence and responsibility, and the ministry is open to ALL members of the congregation.

The Trinity Altar Guild works in teams, with one team from each service assigned to one week per month. If a special service—such as a funeral, baptism, or wedding—occurs during your assigned week, you will assist with setup, cleanup, and support the clergy as requested.

We provide a manual with instructions for all services to serve as a guide. Additionally, all new members will be paired with an experienced guild member for training. This ministry may be a good fit for you if you enjoy hosting, have experience with textiles, or are detail-oriented. While not required, any floral arrangement experience is also welcome.

Please note that setup for Easter and Christmas services is completed by all Altar Guild members.

If you are interested in joining us, please contact Jane Fisher or Judy Hodge.
