Our Savior Lutheran Church and Early Childhood Center, St Charles, Missouri Our Savior Lutheran Church is a congregational member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Please call the church office for dates.

We also have a Christian Early Childhood Center with weekday school for infants up through pre-kindergarten. We are a Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS) Congregation

Sunday Worship

8:15 A.M. Traditional Service - If you like traditional Lutheran worship then this service is for you. We have all the key elements of a traditional service taken right from the hymnal, including all your favorite hymns played expertly on our Allen Q345 Renaissance Quantum organ.

9:30 A.M. - espresso, coffee and donuts available at the Gathering Grounds Cafe during our fellowship hour

11:00 A.M. Thematic/Contemporary Service - If you prefer a more modern style of worship then you'll love our 11:00 service! We incorporate many contemporary songs played and sung by our Praise Team, and accompanied with our Yamaha Clavinova keyboard. Mid-Week Services

Advent and Lent services are held on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 P.M., during the Advent and Lenten seasons. Holy Communion

Holy Communion is offered the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month at 8:15 AM; the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays of the month at 11:00 AM. We believe that Christ's body and blood is truly present in the bread and w**e. It is not just a symbol, and it is taken for the forgiveness of our sins. Exactly how body and blood are present in the bread and w**e is a divine mystery. Early Childhood Center

This popular children's hymn is the inspiration for our name. Thank you for considering Our Savior Lutheran Early Childhood Center for your child's preschool experience. We look forward to working together with you in providing your child with a solid foundation to grow and develop in mind, body & spirit. The preschool program has been an outreach ministry of Our Savior Lutheran congregation since 1976. In 2006, our Early Childhood Center program was expanded to include full time care with a high-quality Christian education for your child. In 2018, our program was expanded to include infant and toddler programs. We also offer a 12 week Summer Camp in St Charles MO for elementary aged children. Matthew 19:14 says, 'Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'

Can’t you just feel the cool, crispness in the air? It’s almost fall! Obviously not, it’s miserable; people are over it. As I drove home from work on Thursday I witnessed several instances where people were obviously losing their patience. I thought about how the extreme heat affects us. My husband works outdoors a lot, even in the extreme heat and it wears on him. I love the heat and this extreme heat can even get to me!
Paul reminds us in his letter to the Ephesians to “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love,” Eph 4:2.
Yikes! Not always easy when our tempers are rising as much as the temperatures outside. Let’s face it, it doesn’t take heat to test our patience with others. Sometimes we’re just tired, or overwhelmed, worried, stressed…
And then I think about the patience that God shows us. How many times am I praying the same prayers, asking for forgiveness for the same things, or putting myself in the same situations. God never stops showing me grace, love, forgiveness, mercy, kindness.
What if we shine a bit of that goodness to others?
On those days, in those moments when our temps are rising, take a pause and remember Paul’s words. “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love,” Eph 4:2.
Make a conscious choice to respond with grace instead of irritation; gentleness instead of anger; patience instead of frustration. Make room for people to be imperfect, God certainly made room for us.

I am hoping you will all do something nice as there is something I need you to do

Well, whether you are a wonderful singer or if you sing just so- so

On Wednesday, September 9, there is somewhere you need to go

Come up to Our Savior at 7:00 p.m., our choir rehearsals are starting then

We sure could use you, come share your talents, all you women and men

So, I hope to see you on September 9, don't give it another thought
