October is pastor appreciation month and we deeply love and appreciate our Pastor, Ryan Anglin! He and his wife Maria, and their four daughters, are an integral part of our church body and our lives! We are so thankful God gave them to us to look to for godly leadership and encouragement! We love the Anglin family! 💛

Ekklesia never meant church building or structure, it’s always been about the believers! We are a called people. Set apart. Chosen. Jesus said we are SALT & LIGHT in the Earth.

You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭13‬-‭16‬ ‭

🏃‍♀️⛰️ Our 2nd Annual Run for the Hills 5K was such a special day! We’re so grateful for everyone who ran, walked, volunteered, cheered, and helped make it happen. ❤️ Big shout out to Birgit Smith who once again led this movement and blessed our community!

All of this year’s proceeds went to Feed-A-Child mitchell county! We’re so thankful to be able to come together as a community and make a difference! 🍎
