You and I have an appointment with death; but death has an appointment, too.

Sin brought death into this world, and because all have sinned, death passed upon all men. But Jesus Christ entered the grave and did what no one else could do: He swallowed up death in victory.

Because Jesus lives, death cannot have the final word over anyone who belongs to Him.
