I am so blessed to be a pastor's wife. Being so has gifted me with a plethora of special events. This weekend was a great example.
Together we headed up to the Sioux Falls area of South Dakota. There David officiated the Commital Service of our beloved Betty Weld. What a privilege to be able to attend. The setting and weather complimented one another to make it a perfect day.
Family and friends gathered to bid a final farewell. Stories were shared and we were all reminded what an incredible person Betty was. After hearing it all, I have no doubt, she heard her Savior loud and clear when He said, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
Betty truly was a gem. A diamond in the rough. I don't pretend to be a photographer, but wanted to share some pictures here.
