Thank you, Fr. Andrew, for shepherding us parishioners at St. Isidore these past seven years! Your love of Christ was shown through every baptism, first communion, wedding, funeral, committee meeting but most of all through the Eucharist at Mass. We will miss you and wish you well in your new Marshalltown pastorate. “God is good, all the time.”

A few reminders:

1. Fr. Juhl, Deacon Mark and Deacon Josh will also celebrate a 5 pm Mass of Thanksgiving this Saturday, July 11th. We will have a dinner reception in the church hall immediately after Mass. St. Isidore will provide the meat. We ask parishioners to bring a side dish, salad, and/or dessert.

2. St. Isidore WILL NOT celebrate daily Mass on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

3. The new Cedar Rapids North Pastorate and schedule begins Wednesday, July 15th. Fr. Neil Marternach begins as our new Pastor. Daily Mass at St. Isidore will be celebrated each Thursday, 8 am, beginning July 16th. Adoration will take place the first Thursday of the month, immediately after 8 am Mass. Confessions will be heard the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and (5th) Thursdays of the month, beginning at 8:45 am. Coffee and Community will also continue these same Thursdays after Mass.

4. Lastly, St. Isidore WILL have the 2026-2027 Religious Education program for K-12th grade students; registration is now open.

Fr. Andrew will celebrate his last weekend Mass with us July 4th at 5 pm and his last daily Mass July 8th at 8 am. He will then be away on pilgrimage beginning July 8th and move to Marshalltown, Iowa, in his new Pastorate, July 14th. There will be no daily Mass celebrated at St. Isidore, Tuesday, July 14th. Fr. Dennis Juhl will celebrate St. Isidore's last weekend Mass, Saturday, July 11th at 5 pm.

Our new Pastorate, Cedar Rapids North, begins July 15th. St. Isidore's daily Mass will be on Thursdays, 8 am. The first Thursday of each month, Adoration will take place after daily Mass. On the remaining monthly Thursdays, Confessions will be heard at 8:45 am, after daily Mass. Weekend and daily Masses at other churches with the Cedar Rapids North Pastorate are also listed.

Vacation Bible School is next week, June 22-26 from 9am-12noon. K-5th grade may still register through St. Isidore's home page Stisidorespringville.org

Father Andrew will be attending the annual Archdiocese Priest Convocation from Monday afternoon, June 22nd through Wednesday June 24th in Waterloo. As such, we will be cancelling daily Mass on Tuesday, June 23rd. However, daily Mass will be celebrated at St. Isidore on Monday, June 22nd and Thursday, June 25th, both at 8:30 am. This time change to 8:30 am next week is to allow VBS students to attend Mass immediately before their 9 am class begins.
