Our kids planted seeds in Children’s Church… and they are starting to grow! 🌱

There’s a lot we can learn from watching plants grow:
- we plant, we water, He grows (1 Corinthians 3:6) , in other words, we work and THEN He blesses. 💦
- patience. Those seeds didn’t bloom overnight. It took weeks of watering and sunlight before it sprouted. (James 5:7-8) In other words, our walk with God is a process, not an event. Keep watering and seeking the Son, you’ll bloom! ☀️
- seeds have to be dead before they can sprout. So God takes something dead with no purpose, buries it, pours good soil around it, rains on it, and gives it some sunshine and makes that dead thing come alive and be strong enough to push its way out of the soil, stand tall, and eventually grow fruit. (2 Corinthians 5:17) if you’ve ever been a dead seed, you know. If you don’t know, ask God about it! ❤️

We are so E X C I T E D to announce our VBS dates!

🌵 Our western themed VBS will be Sunday, June 14 - Friday, June 19
🤠 Sunday, June 14, is our VBS kick-off for the whole family! We will have food and games for everyone. Parent forms can be filled out and kids can meet the VBS crew!
🚂 Monday-Friday, supper and themed desserts will be served for kids and VBS workers at 5:30 pm each night.
🌵 All the fun and classes start at 6:00 pm each night, Monday-Friday.
🤠 Friday night, the kids will enjoy a Glow Party! Then parents are invited for the awards ceremony.
🚂 The kids will have a mission to give to and prizes that they can earn!

Our Women of the Word Women’s Bible Study is taking a break through the month of June (we’ve got to prepare for VBS 🌵🤠), so we will NOT meet tonight or any Monday in June.
