We are back in Genesis for our One Verse Sermon series, looking at the flood today. While rain is falling outside today, we have the promise of God that such a flood will never bring such cataclysmic worldwide destruction as it did in the time of Noah. However, there is still much as can learn from this event, as well as see hints of the Gospel in the story of Noah and the ark.

Join us this Sunday, following the morning worship service, as we dedicate the front flower garden in memory of Dr. Paul Basko. Dr. Basko was a strong man of faith who served the church and our community in countless ways for 50 years. He blessed our church in ways seen and unseen. In his memory, out of our gratitude and for his love of gardening, we will dedicate the flower garden in front of the Goodwin Building this Sunday in his memory.

As we continue our "One Verse Sermons" in Genesis, today we come upon an especially important one that impacts everyone.

When we discover that there is something wrong, in order to fix the problem, we have to rightly diagnose the problem in order to come up with the correct solution. Genesis 3:6 diagnoses the problem for us. The reset of the Bible shows us the correct solution.
