Faith Baptist Fellowship began in Springtown as a home-based church aligned with the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention (SBTC). We hold services on Sunday morning beginning at 10:00 am and hold Bible study on Wednesday evening. Adult Sunday morning Bible study begins at 9:00 am and consists of a verse-by-verse study of scripture, including discussion and time for questions . Classes for youth a

nd younger ages are also available, and child care is provided for all services. We invite you to join us for any of our services and Bible studies as we learn about God’s truth, deepen our relationship with Him, and learn to better serve Him and live as better witnesses.

Sunday, Dec. 17, after morning service we will have our annual Christmas Party. We are asking everyone to bring snacks/sandwiches/appetizers to eat. We will do a white elephant/Chinese gift exchange. Men buy for men & women for women - $25.00 limit. We always enjoy this and laugh a lot. Come join us.

This Sunday after church we will have a pot-luck lunch. All are invited and need to bring a dish to share with everyone. It’s been awhile and we’ve missed our fellowship together, so come join in the good and fun!

Saturday, Sept. 16 at 9:00 am

It’s time to reach out to our community and leave a personal invitation to people to visit our church. We are going to be distributing our painted rocks and church fliers to neighborhoods. We need several people, some to drive, some to deliver and some to replenish stock as we go. Please come support and help in this effort.

WHEN PARENTS GET OLD ...
Let them grow old with the same love that they let you grow ... let them speak and tell repeated stories with the same patience and interest that they heard yours as a child ... let them overcome, like so many times when they let you win ... let them enjoy their friends just as they let you … let them enjoy the talks with their grandchildren, because they see you in them ... let them enjoy living among the objects that have accompanied them for a long time, because they suffer when they feel that you tear pieces of this life away ... let them be wrong, like so many times you have been wrong and they didn’t embarrass you by correcting you ...
LET THEM LIVE and try to make them happy the last stretch of the path they have left to go; give them your hand, just like they gave you their hand when you started your path!

Tomorrow is church clean up day at 9:00 a.m.
The pews will be gone today and just a good straightening and cleaning day to keep the Lord’s house of worship clean and inviting.
