Jesus addresses divorce in the Sermon on the Mount. The Jewish scholars were split between the strict School of Shammai and the lenient School of Hillel. Moses required a certificate of divorce but why did God permit it?

In this message we unpack:
- Why God hates divorce
- The two biblical exceptions (sexual immorality & abandonment)
- Marriage as a picture of Christ and the Church (Eph 5:25)

We also explore God’s design: leave and cleave, one flesh, and the roles of husbands and wives.
