What are your plans tomorrow night? Need a flu shot? Feel like having your blood pressure checked? Want to chat with a breast cancer survivor? What about trying chair yoga or have a chair massage? You can do all this and more at our 2nd Annual Health Fair tomorrow night. Doors open at 6:30pm and it's a free event! ( flu shots have a nominal fee if your health insurance doesn't cover them) we will have a healthy cooking demonstration, a on -site ENT giving evaluations and more! Stop by!

** Proud President moment ** Tonight the ladies auxiliary along with the mens council provided a hot meal for shelter residents at Helping Hands Winter Warming Shelter. We brought fried walleye, baked potatoes, slaw, corn casserole and an array of desserts. Special thanks to the Knights for frying the fish and making the slaw. It was so rewarding to be able to provide food for our local homeless. The ladies also donated tote bags filled with personal grooming items for female shelter redidents. A million thanks to my amazing ladies for all their hard work! I love you all!! Thanks, Beth.

The Ladies had another productive meeting last Thursday. Big thanks to Sandy Potthoff for bringing a quick needlepoint project for us. We made these beautiful crosses for bookmarks. And special thanks to Janna Evanich for the idea of providing a meal for people at the Overflow Shelter through Helping Hands. The Heartland Continuum Center offers people/groups the opportunity to provide a hot meal for the homeless community here in Springfield. We also voted to provide comfort bags to ladies at the center containing personal grooming items, towel and washcloth and other items.

We meet the first Thursday of each month at the North Council. Let me know if you would like to be a part of our group!!
