* Holocaust Survivor Coming to Springfield *

In one week, next Sunday, we are honored to welcome Holocaust survivor Erika Schwartz to Springfield.

Erika will share her powerful story of survival, resilience, and faith on Sunday, April 19 at 4:00 PM. This is a rare and meaningful opportunity to hear firsthand testimony and help ensure these stories continue to live on within our community.

RSVP is required for this event. Please email [email protected] to reserve your spot. The location will be shared upon RSVP.

We strongly encourage you to join and bring family and friends for this important and moving talk.

Looking forward to sharing this meaningful experience together.

What a fantastic evening!

We had the privilege of hosting the “Bourbon Rabbi,” Rabbi Chaim Litvin, for a unique and enjoyable bourbon tasting experience. From great flavors to great conversation, it was truly a special night for our community.

A big thank you to our generous sponsors, Bank of Springfield, David & Rhonda Goldman, and Jay Mogerman, for helping make it all possible.

We are excited to invite the community to a Community Passover Seder.

Wednesday, April 1
Doors open at 6:30 PM
Seder begins at 7:00 PM

Together we will relive the story of our people’s journey from slavery to freedom, enjoy traditional foods, meaningful discussion, and the uplifting songs of the Seder, all in a warm and welcoming atmosphere with friends and community.

Whether you have attended a Seder your whole life or this will be your first, we would love to celebrate with you.

Please message us or email to RSVP.

We look forward to celebrating Passover together!

P.S. A second Seder will also be held on Thursday, April 2 at 9:00 PM for those who cannot attend the first night or would like to join for both.

This is going to be epic! Be sure to mark your calendar.

Israel isn't just a physical location; it's a spiritual one. God banished Adam from the Garden of Eden, within Israel's borders. Jewish people have been striving to return ever since.

What makes a Jewish community? It starts with two people. Even if they don't stand together, two Jews form a community. Grow it to 1000—but it begins with two.

Abraham had a tent open on all sides, ready to welcome anyone. But God made it blazing hot so nobody could visit. Why? Because God saw Abraham's agony of loneliness and sent angels.

Abraham, recovering from a circumcision at 100, couldn't move. Yet, by sitting at his tent's door, watching all directions, he was still ready to help. Proof that even in stillness, good can be done.

From the moment we received the Torah, we gained a responsibility: to uplift not only ourselves, but to inspire the rest of the world to create a better place. Rabbi Shneur Zalman's legacy reminds us of this ongoing mission.
