From the Pastor’s Desk:

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity reminds us that the very life of God is a communion of love — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit living in perfect unity. In today’s Gospel, Jesus reveals this divine love: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son…” (John 3:16). The Trinity teaches us that love is not meant to remain hidden or isolated; it is meant to be shared, lived, and given generously.

This mystery also speaks directly to our parish life. A parish is not simply a building or an organization; it is a family of faith called to reflect the unity and love of the Triune God. Just as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit live in communion, we too are called to live in harmony with one another — praying together, serving together, and supporting one another in times of joy and difficulty.

The life of the Trinity challenges us to move beyond division, gossip, resentment, or indifference. In every ministry, committee, choir, classroom, and family, we are invited to practice patience, forgiveness, understanding, and mutual respect. When we welcome newcomers, care for the sick and elderly, encourage our young people, and work together with humility, our parish becomes a living reflection of God’s presence.

Families, too, are called to reflect the life of the Trinity through forgiveness, prayer, and sacrificial love. Parents, children, grandparents, and young people strengthen the parish when they bring faith into daily life and become examples of unity at home and in the community.

The Eucharist we celebrate each Sunday gathers us into this divine communion of love. Strengthened by Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit, may our parish continue to grow as a community where all people feel welcomed, valued, and united in faith.

May the Holy Trinity bless our parish with deeper unity, stronger faith, and hearts filled with love for God and for one another.

God bless you and remain Blessed!!

From the Pastor’s Desk:

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Come Holy Spirit!

On this Pentecost Sunday, we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit poured out upon the Church. In today’s Gospel from The Gospel of John, the disciples are gathered behind locked doors, fearful and uncertain. Yet Jesus comes into their midst, offers them peace, breathes the Holy Spirit upon them, and sends them on mission.

That same Spirit continues to guide and strengthen our parish family today. The Holy Spirit is alive whenever we gather for worship, serve those in need, teach our children the faith, welcome newcomers, visit the sick, or support one another in times of difficulty. Our parish becomes a living sign of Christ’s presence when each member shares their gifts generously and participates actively in the life of the Church.

Pentecost reminds us that the Church is not simply a building we enter, but a community sent forth in mission. The Spirit calls each of us to move beyond fear, comfort, or routine, and to become witnesses of Christ’s love in our homes, our parish, and our community.

As we celebrate this feast, let us pray for a renewed outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our parish. May the Spirit bring unity where there is division, hope where there is discouragement, and renewed zeal in all our ministries. Together, may we continue building a parish community rooted in prayer, hospitality, service, and joyful discipleship.

Come, Holy Spirit, renew the hearts of your faithful and guide our parish in faith and mission.

God bless you and remain Blessed!!

Happy Open Word Wednesday!

"And suddenly there came from the sky
a noise like a strong driving wind,
and it filled the entire house in which they were.
Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire,
which parted and came to rest on each one of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit"

─ Acts 2:2-4

"No one can say, 'Jesus is Lord,' except by the Holy Spirit.

There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit;
there are different forms of service but the same Lord;
there are different workings but the same God
who produces all of them in everyone."

From the Pastor’s Desk:

The Ascension of the Lord

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord, we reflect on Jesus’ final words to His disciples: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations.” Before ascending to the Father, Christ entrusted His followers with a mission that continues today through the life of the Church. He assured them of His abiding presence, saying, “I am with you always, until the end of the age.”

The Ascension is not simply the departure of Jesus from the earth; it is the beginning of the Church’s mission. Christ now reigns in glory, but He continues His work through each one of us. As members of this parish community, we are called to become witnesses of the Gospel in our homes, workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods.

At the parish level, the Feast of the Ascension challenges us to move beyond being passive participants and become active disciples. We live out Christ’s mission when we welcome newcomers, support parish ministries, teach the faith to our children, care for the sick and elderly, and reach out to those who feel forgotten or distant from the Church. Every ministry, every act of service, every prayer offered together becomes part of the mission Jesus entrusted to His disciples.

The Ascension also reminds us that our parish is not only a place we attend, but a community sent forth. Each Mass ends with a commissioning to “go in peace,” carrying Christ into the world. Through our unity, generosity, and witness of Christian love, others come to encounter the living presence of Jesus.

As we prepare for Pentecost, let us pray for a renewed outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our parish family. May we have the courage to proclaim the Gospel with joy, serve one another with humility, and remain faithful to the mission of Christ. Confident in His promise to remain with us always, let us continue building a parish community rooted in faith, hope, and love.

God bless you and remain Blessed!!
