We have been praying for many years for God to raise up someone to lead our Children's Ministry. In the midst of that, we have experienced the blessing of seeing the arrival of new kids, as well as new volunteers to work with them. In the waiting, God is always working.

This past Sunday, we got to pray over a new thing -- the beginning of a new journey for our Children's Ministry. We are excited to welcome Rebecca Reid as the new director of our Children's Ministry!

As we celebrated the generosity of God, as well as the generosity of volunteers in serving, we marked this moment with a reading from 1 Chronicles 29:14, where David prayed a prayer of thanksgiving over contributions for the temple:

"Who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? For everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your own hand."
