Spotlight of the week ….. Lillie our Kitchen Director

Listen… some folks talk about serving. Lillie lives it.

She’s been rocking with us since day one. No breaks. No excuses. No “when I have time.” She’s got a full‑time job, a whole life, and still shows up like this ministry is her heartbeat.

She’s the one pulling up before anybody else even thinks about leaving their house.
She’s the one still there when the lights are off and everybody’s gone.
She’s the one cooking meals in her own home — an hour away ……just so somebody who’s struggling can eat like a human being and not an afterthought.

That’s the kind of servanthood Jesus was talking about …….the kind that costs you something.

So today’s spotlight goes to Lillie. We love you. We honor you. And we’re thankful for the way you pour yourself out for people who can’t pay you back. In the mighty name of Jesus, thank you for showing us what it looks like to serve with love …

Mad love and respect for all you do ……

This week in Living Proof Kids we talked about God-given gifts and how God made each one of us different for a reason! ❤️
I think their favorite part of the lesson was when I asked, “What if God made us all one big eyeball?” 👀 lol because we all have different parts that make up one body and our body is a temple.

God didn’t make us all to be good at the same things…. Which is okay and Just because your best friend can sing and you can’t…..or your sister can draw and you can’t….. that doesn’t mean you don’t have a gift too
We talked about how easy it is to look at what someone else can do and forget that God gave us our own special gifts and talents. A lot of us just don’t realize that we ARE good at things, sometimes we might have to find the gift within ourselves but that doesn’t mean it’s any less Important. It’s usually because we’re so critical of ourselves.
Also, for the record, I’m a great singer …. (In the car by myself where no one else can hear me) and I’m able to Glorify God in my worship time so just because it’s not a public thing doesn’t make it less important or worthy.

I love getting to watch these kiddos learn who God created them to be. And if they remember anything from this lesson, I hope it’s that they don’t have to be like anybody else to be used by God!

❤️ TOGETHER, WE CAN BE THE HANDS AND FEET OF JESUS. 🙏

Behind every person struggling with addiction, every person living on the streets, and every person fighting to find their way is a story, a heart, and a soul worthy of love, dignity, and hope.

Our ministry is about more than providing help. It’s about reminding people that they are not forgotten, they are not beyond redemption, and their story is not over. ❤️

But we can’t do it alone. We need people who are willing to pray, give, serve, donate supplies, and stand beside those who need a helping hand.

You may never know how much a warm meal, a listening ear, a kind word, or a simple act of love can change someone’s life.

✨ You can be the reason someone believes in hope again.

Will you join us in reaching those who need it most? Together, we can share God’s love, bring hope to the hurting, and remind people that a new beginning is possible.
