Come with an appetite to Kingdom Kids Worship on Sunday at 10:30. We have been learning about hospitality and exploring our gifts and talents. This week, we will be hosting a "backwards breakfast" for some longtime church members who will take us "back in time" to learn about how our church started and grew through the years.

Join us for Kingdom Kids worship tomorrow as we celebrate Palm Sunday. We will be playing pin the tail on the donkey, learning the story of when Jesus was welcomed as He rode a donkey into Jerusalem, making a palm branch door decoration to take home and display, and decorating cookies for a snack.

Next Sunday, we will be in the sanctuary to celebrate Easter with our families.

Tomorrow, we will have our Kingdom Kids Paint Party during our worship time. We will be learning the Easter story and painting a scene from it on a canvas that you can take home and display. Bring a paint shirt. We will also have cupcakes to celebrate.

Our Kingdom Kids valentines exchange will be this Sunday, February 12th at 10:30 a.m.. Each child should bring 15-20 valentines to exchange. Candy is optional. There is no need to address the valentines, just add who they are from.

The Kingdom Kids have been busy working on their Bible skills. This week, practice at home finding the first seven books of the New Testament and the first eight books of the Old Testament. Practice saying two of our Bible Drill verses: Genesis 1:1 and Exodus 20:12.

Next Sunday, bring your mini figures and legos for a special lego challenge as we learn the story Jesus told about the wise and foolish builders. We will also have legos available at church.

We have a really fun group of kids at Eastview! Come and join us!!!

Today, we had a blast practicing Bible skills in Kingdom Kids. The kids used watercolor paint to reveal our key passage for today, which was Matthew 5-7. Ask your kids the name of the key passage. We also practiced finding the first five books of the Old Testament and the first seven books of the New Testament by having cup stacking races and a paper snowball challenge. This week, practice finding these Bible books as well as the key passage.

Today, we started our Kingdom Kids worship. We had a fun time learning about one of Jesus' miracles (Mark 2:1-12). We also practiced finding the Gospel books and enjoyed creating a cookie walk game. This week, practice finding each of the Gospel books in the Bible and learn one Bible Drill verse (Genesis 1:1)- "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." Come and show me that you practiced and earn a prize.

During our Sunday morning sessions, we will be learning key Bible verses, the books of the Bible, and important key passages. Children will have the option to compete in a church Bible drill.
