There is no payroll for this organization as everyone is volunteer. All funds are used for the mission. in 2007 as a 501c3, charitable, nonprofit organization based in Springfield Illinois; Saving Children inc. The organization exists to bring education, clean water, healthy food and shelter to poor and disadvantaged children. was formed to bring life’s necessities children who otherwise are left

to fend for themselves. Our missions is accomplished as we send adult teams to foreign lands bringing resources and love to the hurting. We also send finances to third world countries to feed and support orphans. Our beginnings: After Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, LA in August of 2005 our founder and president, Eric Hansen, began collecting fresh water, food and clothing to send to the area’s most severely impacted by the tragedy. He quickly discovered the need for official, recognized status as a not-for-profit so that businesses and individuals would feel more comfortable contributing to future relief efforts. For the last 14 years we have often been the catalyst as well as the delivery mechanism / organization that brings hope and relief to children who are in great need locally and abroad. Besides our international efforts we have also been instrumental in the forming of and the covering for, matthew-project.com. has no paid employees and we will continue to use all our funds to serve the poor and needy of our community and overseas.
