Happy Hump Day!!
Today’s Devotion...
“Flip the Lens”
The way you respond to a circumstance, has everything to do with perspective.
The Apostle Paul was a man that had issues with his physical eyesight, but his spiritual eyesight was exceptionally clear.

Because he was preaching the gospel, he was often thrown into prison, flogged, whipped, stoned, outcast and ridiculed.
He was also shipwrecked and bitten by a snake.
Paul didn’t see himself as one being stuck in prison because of Jesus; he saw himself as one placed in prison for the cause of Jesus!
While under house arrest in Rome, Paul was held captive by the Roman soldiers; but in reality they became his “captive audience”, because they had to listen to him talk about Jesus day in and day out.
Paul’s time in prison allowed him to write letters to all the churches, something he might not have done had he been free to travel.
How do you see yourself in your present circumstance?
Today’s word is:
POSITIONED!!!
Paul didn’t view himself as being stuck in any situation because he knew it was God, who purposefully positioned him there.
And because he was looking through the right lens, he had joy even in difficult situations.
So, remind yourself to flip the lens and look at your circumstances through the lens of the Holy Spirit, to the sovereignty of God and His will, rather than yours.
This will give you a better outlook, not because the situation changed… but because your perspective did.
Dear Heavenly Father, forgive me for grumbling and complaining about my circumstances.
Help me to flip the lens and look at my life through the lens of Your sovereignty and will.
I know You will cause my circumstances to work together for my good and make me more like Jesus.
Help me to have joy in the journey,
in Jesus’ Name,
Amen.🙏🏽✝️👑
