This week we continued our series - The Parables of Jesus! The Bible is the Word of God. It is full of wisdom and truth. The Bible is full of stories that help us to learn about who God is. Jesus told stories called parables. These were simple stories with deep meaning - and you might miss the meaning if you are not really listening and paying attention! Jesus knew he could teach us lessons by using these stories and making them memorable. Today we talked about the Parable of the Good Samaritan. God wants us to love and help others, even if that means changing our plans. God, help us to love and help others well!

God wants us to listen to His Word and to take care of our relationship with Him and to not let the worries and cares of this world keep us from Him. God thank you for your Word! Give us ears to hear you!

This week we finished our Bible Ninja series!
We talked about listening to the wisdom of others, like parents, teachers, and pastors. Wise people are willing to listen to others and be disciplined by them. Fools trust in their own ways and understanding. Wise people listen to the wisdom and advice of others. Just as every ninja needs a master, we need people in our lives that we can learn wisdom from. God, thank you for your wisdom and for using others to help make us wise!
