Foster Memorial Church Foster Memorial Church is a member of the Southern New England Conference, United Church of Christ. We invite you to join us for worship!

We are located near the intersection of Parker Road and Wilbraham Road, in the Sixteen Acres neighborhood of Springfield, MA. At this time, we are holding in-person worship services each Sunday at 10AM. Pre-recorded services are posted each Sunday on this page and on our website: fostermemorial.org.

From Barbara: This is my last post as administrator of this page. My resignation from the church after 18 years and retirement from active parish ministry in the UCC after almost 40 years becomes effective today. I want to thank everyone who participated in yesterday's worship service and everyone who worked so hard to host the lovely reception following the service. I am so very grateful. I will miss you all. Keith and I will keep you in our hearts and prayers, with the assurance that Foster Memorial Church will continue to shine God's light through Christ into the community and far into the world. Blessings and Peace to all.

Today’s Sunday Service was Pastor Barbara’s final service as pastor of our church before she begins her retirement.

Special thanks to The Rev. Elizabeth Garrigan-Byerly, Executive Minister for Area Conference Ministry, and The Rev. Paul Nesbit, Moderator of Hampden Association of the SNEUCC for participating in today’s farewell service.

On behalf of our entire congregation, thank you Pastor Barbara for your 18 years of leadership and pastoral care of our church. May God and peace be with you as you and Keith enter this new retirement chapter of your lives.

Reminder: Our fun Quarter Auction will be held a week from today on September 4! We would love to see you there! Doors open at 6 PM; Auction starts at 7PM. Great prizes and you can also shop the vendors’ tables. Something for everyone! Admission: $5.00. Bring either a school supply or a non perishable food item for a third free paddle! There will also be a raffle! Dinner and snack food available for purchase. Part of the proceeds will go to our partner, the Rebecca M. Johnson school. Hope to see you there!
