Power of God

Power of God Encouraging others with the Word of God! We all go through hard times in our lives, although some trials may seem worse than others. It does not work this way.

We all need some encouragement and guidance to make our way through them whether that be from someone's words or support, from a picture or a good deed that someone did or any other source; ultimately all the glory goes to God! God is a merciful Father and He will gladly give His Grace to all who welcome it but we have to be willing to give ourselves to Him in return. We cannot expect to live sinf

ul lives and do things against God's commands and be able to receive God's grace and mercy at the same time. We must be committed to doing what is right in the eyes of our Lord. Here is a little encouragement and reminder to help you do just that!

How many people did you witness to today? How many people caught a glimpse of Jesus through their interaction with you? How many opportunities did you take advantage of? How many times did you misrepresent Jesus today?

Ephesians 5:1-2
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

We must be mindful that, as Christians, we are representing our Saviour, Jesus Christ in all that we do. It is our Great Comission to go out and be like Jesus to all God's people. Their interactions with us may be their introduction to who Jesus is; we have to be sure that we represent Him accurately. At times this becomes tough, but we know that whatever we ask of our Father He will give us.

1 John 3:22
And whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.

We can trust in Him because He promises to always give us strength.

Philippians 14:3
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
