Springfield families—this one is for you!

Managing Sickle Cell disease comes with a unique set of challenges—from navigating pain crises and hydration to managing school care plans and hematology appointments. You shouldn't have to travel hours away to find the resources, education, and community you deserve.

The Village Cares is bringing our 2nd Quarter Workshop right to your backyard. Join us for an empowering, informative session focused on health literacy, practical caregiving tools, and peer support.

It was great to join our Lanphier High School friend Jacob at his graduation celebration! We're going to miss Jacob at Kumler Outreach Ministries, but we wish him all the best for the future.

It was a smaller group of friends from Lanphier High School for the weekly work day, but they were so efficient! The students were able to get through all their tasks despite having to leave a little early. Thank you, Lions, for all you do for Kumler Outreach Ministries!

Congratulations to Kumler Outreach Ministries' very own Cedric McClain on his recent second and third place swimming medals! Cedric placed second in the 25 meter backstroke and 50 meter freestyle and third place, swimming the breaststroke leg, as part of a relay team at The Chuck Fruit Aquatic Center, Edwardsville. We wish Cedric all the best as he hopes to compete again this year swimming at the state level of Special Olympics.

Another great work day with our friends from Lanphier High School! Sorting food and traying it up, breaking down cardboard, and organizing - these students can do it all! Thank you so much for your hard work and your enthusiasm. You are such a joy!

Kumler Outreach Ministries is so thankful for community partners like the Rotary Club of Springfield, IL, which was awarded a maternal and child health grant to supply baby layettes to Kumler. The Rotarians provided 15 layettes--eight for boys and seven for girls--to help families get their little ones off to a good start. The layettes, which were assembled at Rotary meetings, were delivered by President John Webb (right) and a past president Randy Erford (left). Also pictured are Sharon Brown and Geneva Powell of Kumler Outreach Ministries. Thank you so much, Rotarians, for your generosity in helping our neighbors!
