WHAT IS THE ANOINTING?
The anointing is more than a powerful moment, a gift, or the ability to move people.
The anointing is God placing His Spirit upon a life that has been set apart for His purpose.

Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;”Luke‬ ‭4‬:‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The anointing is connected to assignment.
It is divine empowerment for divine purpose.

Talent can impress people, but the anointing reaches places talent cannot touch or transform. It breaks bo***ge, awakens conviction, releases revelation, strengthens the weak, and carries the weight of God into an assignment.

But the anointing is not only about power.
It is also about consecration.

In Scripture, oil marked what belonged to God. So if we want the oil, we must also embrace the separation that comes with it.
Your gift may draw people to you, but the anointing should draw people to Jesus.

God does not anoint us to become impressive. He anoints us to become useful in His hands.So do not only pray, “Lord, increase my anointing.”

Pray 👇🏽
Purify the motives of my heart.
Govern my appetites.
Strengthen my prayer life.
Strengthen my character.
Make me trustworthy with what You place upon my life.

Because the greater question is not only, “Are you anointed?”
It is 👇🏽
Can God trust you with what He has anointed you to carry?

God will never send you somewhere He hasn’t already gone before you.

Whatever you’re walking into right now, the unknown, the heartbreak, the waiting, the change, the thing keeping you up at night, you are not walking into it alone.

God goes before you.
He stands beside you.
He walks behind you.
And when you’re too tired to keep going, He carries you.

You may not know what’s waiting on the other side of this season…

But God does.
So breathe. Pray. Take the next step.

You don’t have to know what’s ahead when you know Who goes with you. 🤍
