First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ Wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome here. We are an Open and Affirming Congregation, welcoming everyone into our fellowship.

Small community church with a presence in downtown Springfield on Main Street. Organizations that use this building are Al Anon, AA, Boy Scout Troop 252, Council on Aging, Springfield Community Chorus, Court Diversion and The Humane Society. A memorial garden graces our side yard. All are welcome to stop by and enjoy the beauty and quiet of this space. Sunday worship service is at 10 am. Childcare

is available for 3 years and younger. Sunday School children begin worship with their family and leave for class following the Children's Message.

Join us for worship tomorrow as we celebrate Transfiguration Sunday. The reflection will be "Up the Mountain", from the scripture readings Exodus 24:12-18 and Matthew 17:1-9.

We'll join our voices in song for "O Splendour of God's Glory Bright", "Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty", and "For the Fruit of All Creation". Kyle Washburn will provide the music on the keyboards.

Worship begins at 10 AM, streamed here on our page as well, and the service is followed by a time of refreshment and socializing.

All are welcome.
